This simple tool will pull the Main Bearing Carrier from the crankshaft after you have removed the small timing gear with with a Bearing Wedge/Splitter Tool from your own workshop.
Heat is your friend and BMW say heat the crankcases to 210/250 F or 98/120 Centigrade
Note Lubricate the puller threads with engine oil before use
