Metal cased Air Filter element just like the original BMW part. shown on page 24 of the Isetta Owners handbook This filter will not crush when it is installed due to its metal body and end caps however you must install the O Ring Seals either end of the filter as per Part No 168/1 and BMW 13 72 0043536
